Coming this August: Walter Cronkite is Dead 
The Cumberland ETC is proud to present Joe Calarco’s thought-provoking and surprisingly funny play, Walter Cronkite is Dead, starring Sheila Shaffer and Beth Halverson.
When a fierce thunderstorm grounds flights along the East Coast, two women from completely different worlds find themselves stranded together at Reagan National Airport. Patty, a talkative Southerner, and Margaret, a reserved Washingtonian, couldn’t be more different—or so it seems. Over the course of one unexpected evening, a shared bottle of wine turns into an honest, heartfelt conversation that challenges assumptions, bridges divides, and reminds us of the power of truly listening.
Funny, poignant, and timely, Walter Cronkite is Dead explores what can happen when people with opposing viewpoints set aside the noise and simply talk.

- Adults: $14
- Students: $8
A limited number of tickets will be available for in-person purchase!
- 32 tickets will be available for purchase at Peter & Annie’s for each performance.
- The remaining seats for each performance can be purchased online at cumberlandetc.com.
- If tickets remain available on the day of the performance, they will be sold at the door of the ETC, which opens to the public at 5:30 PM each evening.
